Quick and Easy Protein Balls

Easy, delicious, quick snacks that are packed with protein, fat, and fiber. A perfect snack for busy people and kids or after your workouts when you’re hungry and looking for a boost of protein.

Also makes for a PERFECT healthy dessert when you don’t want something elaborate or big.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup vanilla protein powder (I use this kind, code BECCA32257 for 20% off!)

1/2 cup natural and runny peanut butter

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1/4 tsp cinnamon

6 TBS water*

1/2 cup chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl combine the oats, protein powder, peanut butter, chia seeds, cinnamon, and chocolate chips (all the ingredients except the water). Mix until combined. It should be pretty dry and chunky at this point.

  2. Depending on how runny your peanut butter is and how dry your protein powder will determine how much water you need to add. I use 6 tablespoons. Do it a tablespoon at a time until it reaches cookie-dough-like consistency and a little sticky.

  3. Once you reach that texture, roll into small balls and place in a dish.

  4. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week.
