Healthy Homemade Popsicles

It kind of blows me away to think about how unhealthy normal popsicles are. I love to eat them, but I never usually do because they’re loaded with sugar and don’t offer much in the way of nutrition.

Which wasn’t too big of a deal because I don’t mind if I don’t eat popsicles. My toddler on the other hand..

I experimented for a while until I perfected this super easy, quick, and healthy popsicle recipe! Only four ingredients, a quick blend, and a freeze away from a nutrient dense, low sugar popsicle!

INGREDIENTS

1 slightly heaped cup of frozen fruit (some of our favorites are pineapple or mixed berry!)

1 almost full cup of milk (we substitute kefir for some extra nutrition!)

1 almost full cup of vanilla greek yogurt

Half of a banana

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all four ingredients to your high speed blender and blend. Pour into molds. Freeze for 12 hours.

Pro tip: if you have the cheap grocery store hard plastic molds (like us) - they won’t come out easy if you just try to pull them out. Run hot water on the underside until they release! Works perfectly every time :)
